This is Andre’s Climate, a space where I can learn in public about climate change and the energy transition.
Why am I doing this, you might ask.
I am a technologist and product leader. I build software products and I build teams. I spent most of my career helping large and successful clients become even larger and more successful. That was super fun, but now I am embracing a more challenging and more fulfilling mission: solving the climate crisis.
I write about climate change, climate solutions, climate tech, and the clean energy transition. And whatever else happens to be on my mind.
Writing helps me make sense of things. It is how I challenge my own thinking so I can really understand my views about life & the universe. Writing is how I learn.
Recognizing that the world probably does not need another newsletter, I write mostly for myself. Everything I post here has been useful to me as I navigate the climate tech scene to find my place in this fight.
I believe there are many others out there who want to help fix climate change but don’t know where to start. Some don’t even know they want to yet. I believe my musings can be useful to others who are embarking on their own journeys.
If I can contribute to bringing more talented people to work on climate solutions then I would call that success.
